I was nominated by Laura @LauraNazdeh of Snazzybooks.com.

I get really nervous with things like this, as I am a very boring person lol!
I suffered a spinal injury a few years ago and tend to live in my own little world, with a stack of books. But in a strange way, I am glad of the nomination and chance to put a little bit of me, on my book blog! πŸ™‚

I have the answers to Laura’s questions and 11 of my own with 11 nominees!
So here goes……..

The Rules

  • Thank the person who nominated you and link their blog
  • Answer the 11 questions the person asked you
  • Nominate 11 people (comment on their blog to let them know)
  • Ask the people you have nominated 11 questions.

If you had to pick a literary character to marry/enter civil partnership with, who would it be?

Easy, Leo Demidov from Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith. I read the whole trilogy in a weekend and was head over heels in love. I would gladly back my things and head to communist Russia for Leo!

What instantly puts you off a book?

If you had to pick favourite 3 authors?

This is a very tough question! As I have so many 5* genius faves! *Gun to my head! M.P Wright, Sarah Pinborough and Joe Ide

Most Read series?

I have read all the JT Ellington series by M.P Wright and re-read the first many times, in an attempt to learn the skill of writing. I have also read all the IQ series by Joe Ide. But series that stick out to me are: Game Of Thrones, read them all in 12 days! Also Poldark I read them all last year! (Ross Poldark is my book crush #2)

Tea or Coffee whilst reading or neither?

Either or beer or rum! Lol

  1. If you could only eat one food or cuisine for the rest of you life, what would it be?

I am a Veggie and an insanely picky eater! I would say Italian! I love the food and it is very healthy!

Ebooks or paper books?

I read both but prefer paperbacks!

What do you do with books you don’t want to keep? Give them to friends, charity shops, sell them?

My next-door but 2 neighbour Sue, she is in her 70’s and can’t always afford the latest hardback releases etc. So she often pops round to what she calls β€˜my library’ but is actually my dining room and scours my arcs. She borrowed the latest Paula Hawkins novel before I have even read it. She is awesome! We live in an area that has a 30% OAP demographic. So I prefer to donate my books to the local older population, as I know money can be tight for them. I am amazed at their choices. Sue is a huge fan of crime and the darker the better!!!!!! Lol

Favourite book of 2017 so far?

I would have said Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough but I read this last year via Netgalley. I would say…….. A Patient Fury by Sarah Ward (due for release in September 2017), IQ by Joe Ide and Seas Of Snow by Kerensa Jennings.

Favourite Genre?

Historical crime fiction.

Favourite book to movie/TV adaption?

Game Of Thrones is epic! My kids would choose The Book Thief as they loved both book & movie!

My 11 questions…….

  1. Name 11 novels you love?
  2. Favourite genre?
  3. Favourite place to read?
  4. Favourite non-fiction read?
  5. 3 favourite publishers?
  6. What is your worst distraction from reading?
  7. The novel that has really helped, in a time of need?
  8. Favourite location in a novel?
  9. The novel you are a super fan of? for example, my sister is a devout Potter fan.
  10. The last book that made you cry?
  11. The last book that made you laugh out loud?

I nominate:

  1. Thanks for the tag, not sure why the lol though?? If you wanted crazy answers you needed to ask crazy questions!πŸ˜‚

Getting through all the Game of Thrones books that quick definitely deserves massive praise especially as Feast for Crow’s is sleep inducing boring!πŸ˜‚

  2. Congratulations on your nomination! Can’t believe how quickly you got through the games of thrones books! Despite fantasy being my thing I really struggled with the first one and haven’t yet read any of the others!
